According to Bloomberg, Apple and AI startup Anthropic (creators of the Claude language model) are collaborating on a powerful new AI coding assistant called “vibe-coding.”
The project is designed to automate code writing, editing, and testing within Apple's development ecosystem. Sources familiar with the matter say that vibe-coding will be built into a new version of Xcode, Apple’s primary software development environment.
At its core, the platform will integrate Claude Sonnet, Anthropic’s large language model, to enhance developer productivity and transform the way apps are built for iOS and macOS.
