What kind of transport is this startup aiming to build?

In a bold leap toward the future of luxury mobility, London-based startup AltoVolo has unveiled the prototype of its high-performance eVTOL aircraft, Sigma. Unlike traditional air taxis, Sigma targets wealthy private clients, offering personal air travel from rooftops to yachts — all in near silence.
With a cruising speed of 350 km/h and an impressive range of 820 km, the Sigma far outpaces competitors like Archer Aviation's Midnight, which tops out at 240 km/h and a 160 km range. The aircraft seats three, weighs 980 kg, and features a patented tilting electric engine system for seamless transition between vertical and horizontal flight. Remarkably, it's 80% quieter than a helicopter.
Having completed successful prototype tests, AltoVolo is now preparing a full-scale version — hinting at a future where personal flying machines could become the new symbol of elite transport.
